Without Boundaries, BerlinOnce a symbol of distrust and division, the Berlin Wall is now home to a fantastic array of thought-provoking street art. The East Side Gallery invites us to imagine a world without boundaries and shows us just how universal is the language of freedom. | Triumph of the Arts, ViennaIt's hard not to be impressed by the stateliness of Vienna's central district, with its princely architecture and classy Hapsburg vibe. That said, it's also a little like wandering around a giant, elaborate wedding cake. The neat, round Burgtheater was tailor-made to illustrate the point. | Hundertwasserhaus, ViennaThe playful exterior of the apartment complex is a mere prelude to the weird and wonderful surprises inside. Features like the undulating floors, offbeat mosaics and the kooky "Toilet of Modern Art" make this Viennese icon well worth an afternoon's exploration. |

Karlskirche, ViennaThere are so many distinctive elements here that somehow manage to come together in gentle harmony. The scene looked particularly evocative in the soft, winter sun. While Europe as a whole isn't short on Baroque-style churches, Karlskirche is one you remember. | Attention, EtonThe Queen's Guards are renowned for their stoic composure. Sharply outlined in their traditional red jackets and bearskin caps, these chaps move through their paces with robotic precision. Why none of their chin straps go around their actual chins remains a mystery. | Nature's Rest, CavtatAn idyllic spot on the beautiful Dalmatian coast. The view was like a balm for the eyes and soul. Capturing the image was a little tricky though, given the dappled light and shadows thrown by overhanging trees, but the natural colours are a testament to God's amazing handiwork. |

Palette Fusion, SingaporeSingapore probably has a well-deserved reputation as a straight-laced centre for business. While that description might usually be synonymous with boring glass and steel, little pockets of striking colour, sprinkled with personality, hits the ocular palette with unexpected but welcome spice. | Portals, SingaporeThe city-state's layered roots are radiantly expressed in its mish and mash of culture, food and architectural style. East meets West here to create something that is altogether its very own. | True Romance, VeniceVenice in one shot. for me, really the most extraordinary and captivating city in the world. |
